An Intimate summer wedding in the Garden’s of Santa Ynez, California

Anne Barge is thrilled to be the wedding dress designer choice of Hayley Bridges, daughter of Academy Award winning actor Jeff Bridges. Hayley, a renowned interior designer and her fiancé, wealth adviser Justin Shane, officially tied the knot last summer on August 21st after their original wedding date was postponed in 2020.

Like the theme of their wedding, their love story is sweet, thoughtful, and centered around family. The couple met through a mutual friend. Justin proposed to Hayley at her family’s Montana ranch in 2019. Justin popped the question as the couple took a private walk through a valley on the property. Hayley’s sister, brother-in-law, and parents were waiting nearby to join them and celebrate with champagne.

Their wedding plans started with a quick decision to wed at the venue at Kestrel Park in Santa Ynez, California. “We loved it right off the bat,” the couple shares. “The property is just absolutely beautiful.” The venue also set the stage for the event’s aesthetic, leaning into the peaceful, romantic setting for their intimate nuptials. “For the theme, we wanted to combine the English garden landscape of Kestrel with our California coastal vibe,” Hayley and Justin say. “The color scheme was natural variations of whites, creams, and greens, with warm touches of soft orange and citrus and accents of dusty blue, gold, and wood.”

Hayley’s bridal gown story provided a true testament to her taste and love of the ‘the one’ since she had to select her gown back in 2019 while planning for her original wedding date. “I had to get the dress way early since our original wedding date was in September 2020—and I was happy to still be in love with it,” Hayley says.

Hayley said “yes” to the Everlasting wedding gown by Anne Barge. Everlasting is a V-neck ballgown of Alencon lace with intricate metallic embroidery throughout. “I felt like it was classic, and the silhouette was the one I’d been searching for,” she says. “I just felt really pretty in it.”
